Why Ocean Beauty?
“Ocean Beauty has been with us from the start giving us great quality and service that is second to none.” ~Jack Harris, owner
Jack Harris and Chris Nemlowill opened a small brewery and restaurant in the Historic Fort George Building located in Astoria, Oregon in 2007 with 12 employees and a goal to serve their hand crafted beers and wholesome seasonal food. Recruiting Chef Dana MaCauley from the Cannery Café
To create a menu that is very popular with locals and visitors alike, most menu items are made from scratch using mostly obtainable, local ingredients such as Rock fish tacos, pan-seared oysters, and Albacore fish and chips. In seven years since opening they have expanded to the whole city block and now have over 75 employees.
They opened the upstairs this past summer giving them 6000 square feet of restaurant and dining with a great view of the Columbia River. They have installed a state of the art, wood fire oven for making authentic pizzas.
You can find Fort George beers on tap in many fine establishments as well at your favorite retailer in Oregon, Washington and Idaho.
