Excursion Inlet, Alaska

The Excursion Inlet plant was constructed in 1908, served as a prisoner-of-war camp during World War II, and was acquired by Ocean Beauty in 2003. Mostly processing pink and chum salmon, as well as salmon roe, salmon caviar, halibut and sablefish. The plant is located about 40 miles west of Juneau, AK and seasons run from late June to mid-September.
