We had over a hundred guests check in on this lovely, warm afternoon at Washington National Golf Course in Auburn, WA. The weather was perfect and hydration was a must!

August 7, 2015 –

Ocean Beauty brings customers and vendors together for a day of fun at the company golf tournament.

Well “fun” for most–frustration for others; this is GOLF we are talking about! The Ocean Beauty Golf Scramble is held every year in August when the weather in the Northwest is at its finest.

Friday the 7th was no different, the beautiful weather and sunshine brought the best out of our well-hydrated golfers. Plenty laughter and minimal swearing and was heard, as is typical of the fishing industry (pfft!)

It’s not just about rubbing elbows, Ocean Beauty uses this day as a benefit for SeaShare, our favorite non-profit that uses our donations and product to deliver seafood protein to America’s food bank. www.seashare.org

Tim and David, seafood buyers from Albertsons, LLC, joined outstanding golfers Jenna Hooley from our ad agency Spawn Ideas, and Darrin Mithun, Ocean Beauty Midwest Regional Sales Manager.

New guests this year, Kyle and Jason from Starbucks corporate, joined Ocean Beauty West Coast Regional Sales Manager Julie Thelander, and Stephen Moniz, Sr. V.P. of Sales at Oceans Fleet.

A new feature this year: bicycle water delivery! Ocean Beauty avid bikers Ted Mobley and Gary Raven yuck it up as they compare Strava scores.

Net proceeds from our tournament go to helping SeaShare deliver seafood protein to America’s food bank. Thanks to all our sponsors for your charitable donations. local pages Without this help from our vendors, this day doesn’t happen. It’s a great mixer bringing companies together for a good cause.

Pink Door and Ivar's

A dashing bunch! Left to Right: Ray and Omar from Ivar’s, Chef Steve (The Pink Door), Davis in Ocean Beauty Seattle Distribution, and Chef Michael from Rogo’s Restaurant.

Associated Seafoods reps Victor and Neil flank Scott from Anova Foods and our own VP of Domestic Sales, Ron Christianson.

Masaki-san of Kyokuyo America Corp. golfed with Shin Kaneko-san from our Tokyo office, Kenji-san of Kyokuyo Japan, and Sojiiro-san from Tokai Denpun. Shin and Kenji were traveling all the way from Tokyo! Jet lag doesn’t stop these gentlemen from a round of golf.
