Chef Tian was born in Hong Kong, China and moved to the United States in the ‘90’s. He was corporate chef for the SushiSamba in New York before moving to Texas. He joined the Blue Fish Japanese Restaurant at its first location on Greenville Ave. in 2003.

The Blue Fish Japanese Restaurants prides themselves in the quality of the products they serve to their guests. Asked why he started buying from Ocean Beauty, Chef Tian said “Ocean Beauty has great quality seafood. My sales rep, Paul, will always help me source whatever seafood I may be looking for, to find the best quality product at the best price. You have to be able to trust your vendor, and I have that with Ocean Beauty”. Asked what the biggest challenges are that he faces in his restaurants, he replied “Finding good quality help”.

When Chef Tian isn’t busy going to their multiple locations to work with the chefs, he enjoys playing golf and spending time with his wife and his 10 year old son.
