Recipes: Smoked Salmon Chicken Torta
Delicious chicken entrée that features Echo Falls, Hot
Smoked Traditional or King Salmon.
Ingredients:
Chicken Breast, boneless - 1 ounce
Oil Olive - 2 tablespoons
Salt - ¼ teaspoon
Pepper - ¼ teaspoon
Ham, deli sliced - 4 ounces
Cheese, fontina, slices - 2
ounces Echo Falls Hot Smoked Traditional or King Salmon - 4 ounces
Avocado - ½ each
Tomato Marinara, prepared - 4 ounces
Method:
Cut raw trimmed breast in cutlet ½ to ¾" and pound if necessary. Season with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in flat bottom pan and pan fry chicken on one side on medium high heat.
Turn over, reduce heat to medium and top ham, cheese and crumbled smoked salmon.
Cover for 3 minutes or place in a preheated oven.
Served over heated tomato marinara sauce.
Chef's Note: Served over fresh cooked, seasoned, pasta or rice. Fresh vegetables and grated parmesan cheese.
Substitute any cheese.
Yield: 4 portions
