OSU Better Seafood Processing School (BSPS)

Ocean Beauty’s Quality Assurance Team was well represented at the first annual OSU Better Seafood Processing School summit in Astoria, OR. Staff was asked to present on seafood quality relating to utilization, innovation, and compliance. It also appears that they are quite the chefs, winning 1st place as the “Green Mean Salmon Machine” in the chopped challenge.

Ocean Beauty Seafoods is an active member of the Seafood Products Association (SPA) which supports these events focused on the modern-day challenges facing the seafood industry. Thank you to Oregon State University’s Surimi School for hosting!
