Recipes:
Sauces to Accompany Ocean Beauty's Crab Cakes
Asian Vinaigrette
2 tablespoons Thai chili paste
¼ cup lime juice
¼ cup shallots, finely chopped
1 tablespoon soy sauce
2 tablespoons fresh ginger, finely grated
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon Asian Fish Sauce
2 tablespoons chopped peanuts
2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
Whisk together all ingredients until mixed well.
Roasted Red Pepper
1 cup roasted red peppers, skinned (if using jarred, be sure packed
in water)
2 tablespoons lemon juice
½ cup olive oil
Salt & pepper, to taste
1 teaspoon fresh thyme, stemmed and chopped
Mix well in food processor or blender.
Peruvian Cherymolla
1 teaspoon garlic, minced or crushed
2 teaspoons paprika
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon lemon juice
¼ cup olive oil
1 teaspoon fresh cilantro or parsley, chopped
Blend together all ingredients. Fold in fresh chopped
cilantro or parsley.
