Located on Kenai Peninsula, is
beautiful Nikiski, Alaska. The Kenai Peninsula rivers are among
the most intensely managed, fresh water salmon fisheries in Alaska.
On the south-eastern end of Kenai Peninsula the Kenai Fjords National
Park hosts spectacular views of the 300-square mile Harding Icefield,
35 miles long and 20 miles wide.
Nikiski processes fresh and frozen
Coho salmon, Chum salmon, Pink salmon, Sockeye salmon, King salmon,
Salmon roe, Halibut and Cod. Seasons typically run from the beginning
of April thru the end of October. Nikiski is geared mostly towards
frozen production.
