Beginning over 1,000 years ago, the Vikings regularly visited the fertile fishing grounds of what is now Boston, Massachusetts. The fish caught were salted and smoked on our shores, for their long journey home. As these shores were settled, Boston has been a major "hub" of the seafood industry in the United States for over 350 years.

Today Ocean Beauty owns and operates an ultra-modern facility in Taunton, MA. This facility smokes some of the very same species that our Viking fore-fathers did, including mackerel, whiting, bluefish and herring.
